What a privilege and an honor to be protected by the Lord of Glory! Psalm 91 is one of the greatest passages in all of Scripture that outlines the protection of God upon His children. The enemy cannot touch us, neither can death truly befall us. He is with us in trouble and He sets us on high because we have known His name. How many times has God saved us from evil, from accidents, or even from ourselves?
Lord God, how thankful we are to come before You in praise for Your hand of protection upon us! We likely don’t know all the things from which You have saved us, but in Christ, You have surely protected us from death and the grave. How could we ever repay You? It cannot be done. Therefore, we come before You in gratefulness to say thank You, God, for Your protection. Amen.
