If you believe you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
Our Lord Christ has told us the secret to answered prayer is faith. This is not a blind faith or an ignorant one, rather, a faith that stands upon the promises of God. Only the believer who prays according to God’s will receives powerful answers, not those who pray in the vanity of their flesh. God answers prayers with an eye for His glory, not our own. “Thy will be done.”
Faith is not believing really hard to get what you want. Faith is believing in the integrity of God to bring to pass all that He’s promised. It is to the believer who prays Scripture, who knows God’s will, and who lives according to His commands that He hears and answers. Let us not seek to use God for our own selfish gain, but to pray in earnest for His Kingdom, His will, and His glory in our lives.
