The faithfulness of God is a marvel. Over and over again in His Word He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us. Christ promises to be with us always, even to the end of the age.
It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”
Deuteronomy 31:8
How often are we grateful that God never leaves us and that His ear is open to our cries? This world is adept at leaving the poor and broken behind, of picking off the weak ones and leaving them for dead. Not God. Our great God restores our strength and gives us wings to soar like eagles.
Lord God, may we ever be grateful for Your faithful heart and the beautiful glory that You never leave Your children to fend for themselves. You alone are our hope and our shield, and in You do we trust. Why? Because You are faithful. Thank You, Lord, for always being there when we need You. Amen.
